WHO WE ARE
Ayeteyef Development Organization is a vibrant and
women-led non-profit, secular
and nonpartisan indigenous civil society organization
established in July 2024, and
dedicated
to empowering women and youth for
advocating
gender equality. It was founded
by a committed group of distinguished women and men, and aims to tackle the complex social,
economic, and political challenges faced by women and youth in Ethiopia.
We focus on generating meaningful opportunities and
advancing social justice, while conducting comprehensive research to understand
the obstacles confronted by women and youth. Through targeted intervention
strategies and strong advocacy for human rights, we aspire to uplift and
motivate, ensuring that every woman and young person has access to the
resources and support they need to thrive. With an emphasis on sustainable
development and community empowerment, Ayeteyef Development Organization serves
as a guiding light for progress, working towards a more equitable and just
future for all.
